Learning Intention: I can create a definitive food chain that will last more than 1-2 days.

When we had a surprise of Science Alive, I was astonished because it took most of our day (Which is good) and taught us about things like biomes and food chains. For the food chain, even though they knew that if everyone was a Narwhale, everyone would die, they let us test that out for ourselves and it was an enjoyable experiment. The other things we did were small chemical reactions, students were put into groups and we picked our own chemicals to mix with a small pile of yeast. Turns out that salt and sugar water was the best combination to create gas to fill a balloon.

A subject I'm finding quite difficult is Science, even though I have gotten quite a few good marks. Whats hard for me is that every once in a while, I get lost in the notes and the new ones come in a little fast. One thing I do like is the experiments we get to do. My favorite activity from this subject was the thinking the most questions as we can with my group, I thought I could have improved on the questions though. One thing I would love to learn in this subject is to be in depth with electricity, for example, hydro electric dams.

I learned that presentations can be presented in many ways. For example, you might make a graph which is interactive or a flow chart, maybe even a power point. I did a poster, many things I learned making my poster was how to link things together like chains. Linking is very difficult but very impressive that someone my age can do it at all. Drawing pictures were easy from me the fact that I normally do regular sketches but drawing links in a compressed spaces is so difficult.
