Learning Intention: I can effectively enhance photos using editing techniques.

Reflection: Through out and over the course of learning about pictures, it was really something to talk about. The things I've learned are definitely going to help me in the future because taking pictures is a really under-used life skill.

I learned a bit of science while doing this but if you think about it, its really just common sense. The Borax is in a cup filled with boiling water and inside the cup is a pipe cleaner in the shape of a snow flake. The borax melts and grabs on to the pipe cleaner and the water cools over time, when the water gets colder, the borax forms again.

When I was doing this, I learned about colouring darker for a more vibrent colour. I didn't really learn anything else but I used the elements of art, the elements I used were line, colour and shape.

A couple things I learned doing this was to use the collage function on picmonkey and and the photo editing on pixlr, putting these pictures into the computer was completely different from what I normally do and making different versions to make coll ages

LEARNING INTENTIONS: To use the elements of art (line, form, space, shape, colour, and tone), pastels, and proportions in creating a self-portrait using a 'PICASSO-LIKE' style.

REFLECTIONS: I learned that colouring in specific portions can keep things clean every where including your clothes, getting pastel on clothes is a big deal. I disliked how I had to colour in a slow motion state but that is key to many things. I liked starting the art with sketching with a pencil to make guide lines. When I was finished, I thought to myself that I could do better by fixing the head shape a little bit but I can't go back. This experience help improve and discover new art skills like tones can change by how hard you press when colouring.
